Edition 81:  Aug / Sep 16            Training for a healthy Mind, Body & Wallet!

Dear 

Previously I mentioned that the newsletters will be coming from Your Money Mistress instead of Financial Fitness, and I lost a couple of subscribers. That's ok. As a friend of mine said, "if you're not upsetting some people you're walking too much in the middle-of-the-road and won't make a difference". You need to take a stand for what you believe and be true to yourself. So are you?

And just like most overnight successes were actually built over years, like the winner who's win is based in the years of training, most great things do take time. Perfecting a skill, a beautiful home, a strong relationship, building trust and a reputation or a successful business (including getting your new email marketing system right ;-) Whatever it is remember that we often over estimate what we can achieve in a year but underestimate what we can achieve in a lifetime. I know I've said this one before and I hope you've got a bucket list you're working through ;-)

Lastly, I'll be speaking in Sydney on the 19th October, staying in the region til the 28th Oct. Here are more  details and if you'd like to catch up (Sydney-ites or Canberrans) please let me know in advance so I can plan accordingly!

Fitness Tips (with more on the blog)

For the Mind: With Spring well and truly here (in Australia), have you spring cleaned your mind? Have you rid yourself of those limiting beliefs that "this is the way it should be" or "I can't afford that". ASK (yes it's the best 3 letter word, Ask), "what if there was a better way?" or "How can I afford it?"

For the Body: This Grand Final long weekend take notice of how your body reacts to the food and drink you put into it. Could you treat it like a festive season practise where you have less food or alcohol than you would normally? Even if you don't watch the game could you take one extra healthy step this weekend? I think so! x

For the Wallet: Spring clean your finances. Look at where you're spending and where you could cut down. Pick three categories in your budget and focus on improving those. Get online and see how the extra cash on your debt pays dividends over time (eg what does an extra $20 / week on your mortgage mean?
