Description
This resource includes three example personal text responses essays suitable to use as exemplars for Unit 1 VCE English. The essays are on these texts and topics:
- We Have Always Lived in The Castle (novel): ‘Merricat is an entirely unlikeable character. Do you agree?’
- Jasper Jones (novel): ‘Jasper Jones is an important novel about the discrimination in Australia’s small towns. Do you agree?’.
- Romeo and Juliet (play): ‘Romeo and Juliet shows us how teenagers’ behaviour is the same now as it was 500 years ago. Do you agree?’
