Built to ensure that users are compliant to the Australian Spam Act 2003. All Enudge™ emails clearly identify the sender and allow recipients to unsubscribe through a simple and straightforward process.
Anti-spam legislation differs around the world. Some countries, for example, allow you to send a certain number of messages over a short timeframe, without getting consent. In Australia, you must have prior consent before sending even one commercial email to one person. Enudge™ requires that you comply with Australian laws - that is, you already have consent to send before you upload your contacts - and therefore we don't need to force double-opt-in across your database at that time.
The way Enudge™ is built will also give you peace of mind. Some Australian businesses have received large fines in recent years for sending messages to their customers because they were using a generic email address for more than one person. In that scenario, once the email address has unsubscribed, then your Enudge™ account can no longer send emails to that email address.
